25 mins from downtown Vancouver, Deep Cove Village is a beautiful touristy neighbourhood at the foot of Mt Seymour (skiing) with trails, beach and kayaking. Our new cottage with loft bedroom is steps from the Baden Powell Trail, Quarry Rock, Deep Cove Canoe & Kayak Shop, bistros, coffee shops, Panorama Park, Deep Cove Theatre & Arts & Cultural Centre. Our suite is a brand new above ground property in a peaceful and quiet creekside setting w/ water and forest views. The loft bedroom has views of Deep Cove's harbour amongst the trees. The second bedroom/den looks onto the deck and creekside. The living, kitchen and dining area has dual views of the garden and view to the marina with boats and kayaking. You have both a deck and a bluestone garden patio to enjoy in the spring/summer. The bathroom has a large shower with rainshower head and heated floors. You have access to two kayaks as well. In addition to TV and WiFi we can supply board games as well :). Architecturally designed, tastefully furnished.

Summary: The property was as described with everything you would need in a kitchen, perfect size for two adults and 2 small dogs, though could have accommodated more. Location was close to many parks, many with off leash sections, near entry way to Quarry Rock hike, 5 to 10 min walk to Deep Cove with lovely restaurants, nick nack stores and to the water. W rented a couple of sea kayaks for a couple of hours and explores the cove. Facility got warm during the late afternoon as we were there during a heat wave of 29 C and up. But totally bearable with ceiling fan downstairs and a fan in upstairs bedroom. We opened the windows in the evening and the place cooled down quickly after the sun receded. We Sat out in the woods d ck every evening to enjoy the fresh air and quiet.I would not hesitate recommending the accommodations to friends and family. Communications was via the owners daughter who has as very responsive to inquiriea and friendly with great tips.
