Summary: Overall, our stay was OK, but it was not what I was expecting. Shortly before we arrived. I learned that this VRBO is a duplex with the accommodations being mostly underground. A while back we had a bad experience in a duplex so I would never knowingly book a duplex. I don’t think it’s clear in the listing. One of the main photographs shows the front of the home. This could easily be confused as the entrance. This is mainly why I only gave it 3 stars. There’s definitely a musty smell in the porch area and possibly in the house, although I did not notice it as much as my friend. The positives are very conveniently located to downtown and Drake university. The owner had good communication.
