Summary: TLDR: I recommend it as an inexpensive, relatively clean downtown stay. Pros: The room was generally clean and the location is very good (easy walk to downtown core and the terrific weekend farmers’ market). It was cheap and no fee for the dog! Cons: I was told at check-in that I had selected a smoking room (I’m positive I wouldn’t “select” one) and to avoid it, I needed to upgrade my room for, like, $13 or some nominal fee. They also have a big, mostly empty lot, yet charge for parking. Finally, stains/burn holes in the bedspread (in my slightly more expensive nonsmoking room).
