Living room has hardwood floors, a large picture window, fireplace, and built-in cabinets. Kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel fridge, new gas stove and a cozy kitchen table where you can relax and sip your coffee or wine. There is a laundry room in the basement. The bedrooms are furnished with 2 queen size beds with very comfortable mattresses. Also featuring a twin size sofa in the living room to provide more than enough sleeping space for 4 people. We will offer linens/bedding for sofa upon request. The house is decorated with comfort and quality in mind, with all linens/towels and basics for your stay.
Located in the heart of one of the nicest streets in central Berkeley, very close to the new Berkeley Bowl West, Paisan, Claypot, Café Trieste and Mo Joe Coffee, 900 Grayson, and Gaumenkitzel German restaurant. There are fabulous parks and hiking/biking areas within walking distance, and the express bus to San Francisco picks up 1 block from the house and will take you to the heart of the San Francisco in 30 minutes. The Ashby BART station (metro/subway) or North BART station is a 15 minute walk from the house and will also take you into San Francisco in 30 minutes. The house is within 1.8 miles of the UC Berkeley campus, making it convenient for visiting family and friends or attending local events. This is a great location for sightseeing all around the Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sonoma wine country.
