After a tranquil drive through the “tunnel of trees”, beside Little Pigeon River, and up a scenic well-paved mountain road, you will arrive at a cottage experience that your whole family will enjoy. Nestled amongst the trees on top of Spence Mountain, you will relax and unwind in a serene natural setting. Convenient to all of the major attractions, the cottage is only 15 minutes to Dollywood and 30 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Enjoy cooking meals in the fully stocked kitchen or grilling out on the spacious deck. Gather in the living room for a family movie night with free high-speed internet or compete for the highest score on the arcade machine. Relax in the rocking chairs and watch the fireflies, sometimes you can even hear the Dollywood train whistle! Open a bottle of wine and soak your cares away in the hot tub. However you decide to spend your time here, it will be relaxing and memorable.
There are 2 large bedrooms with king beds, new memory foam mattresses, and their own full private bathrooms, along with a queen pull out a sofa bed downstairs and another upstairs in the loft. There are TVs in each of the bedrooms along with another in the living room.
Full kitchen w/ electric stove, fridge, freezer, pots, pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, dining sets, basic spices, cooking oil, sink, dishwasher, cupboard, and a microwave.
There is free high-speed internet throughout the house for you to stream your shows and enjoy.

Central A/C and Heating that is easy to control for your comfort.
Water softener and whole house water filter.
Large washer and dryer.
There is a game room off of the kitchen at the back of the house with an arcade machine, checkers table, and a cornhole set. Please supervise your kids on the arcade machine because it contains many types of video games. There are also puzzles and board games located in the living room cabinet.
The large wrap around deck has a nice covered area with a tin roof on one side, along with an open area for the hot tub, grill, and outdoor seating on the other side. There is also a little shed with some toys for little kids to play in. Lastly there is a firepit on the elevated side with some seating for enjoying the outdoors or roasting marshmallows and making smores.
The fireplace is currently being renovated and is not functional.
Our cabin is in a wooded area on the outskirts of town, so although we regularly have the premises treated for pests, you may find spiders, insects, and animals that are expected in the Smokies such as foxes, raccoons, deer, bears, etc. The bears here are more afraid of you than you are of them. Give them space and do not feed them. Do not leave food outside the house and place all trash securely in the outside trash can provided with the cord secured.
We are on our own septic. PLEASE do not flush ANYTHING but toilet paper down the commodes and do not dump any grease down the sink.
We provide your first needed items such as dish soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. Depending on use you may want to buy some from the grocery store.
