Positive: The location and the affordable price. I liked digital check- in and the coded entry system. Kate in the office was very nice and helpful.

Negative: No amenities. It looks like there was once a restaurant and bar. They should get that up and running again. I know that would increase the price but it is needed. Our shower was not very clean and the room, including the wooden floor, was very dusty which triggered my asthma.

Summary: Cute but basic accommodations about four miles from Mendocino Village.
