Summary: The staff was friendly, but the hotel lacked a feeling of cleanliness or good housekeeping. 1. The carpeting outside of the bath was WET. We noticed it while walking around the room in our socks which got wet. Also, there was a white, fuzzy substance on parts of the wet carpeting. We thought it might have been mold. The room smelled musty and felt very humid. We asked to be moved and they accommodated us immediately. Housekeeping should have noticed the white substance and wet carpet. 2. In room #1, here was food leftover in the fridge from the previous customer. Housekeeping needs to check the refrigerator. 3. In room #1, the room had many flies buzzing about. We killed 4 before we moved to our new room. Housekeeping should've noticed and reported it. 4. In room #2, the tub drain plug was pulled out and left in the corner. There was LONG reddish/blonde hair stuck to it. Housekeeping needs to double-check all things. 5. Room #2 was better. It smelled cleaner, was less humid, and had a properly working A/C.
