Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space just off the Highway in Sierra Village. This is the 2nd home on our property which features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, all newly remodeled, with an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. We have a small laundry room with a stackable washer and dryer. The back deck has a small propane bbq and high top table for you to enjoy a meal among the trees. This house shares a garage/rec-room with our main house with an additional bathroom. Come and enjoy!
The space
Wood burning fire place in living room. Each room has its own electric heat to set to your desired temperature. Wall mounted AC for the warmer summer days. Seating for four at the kitchen table. Both bedrooms have their own smart tvs. 42" flat screen tv and a larger 55" tv is located in the living room. All tvs use the internet to stream shows and movies. High speed internet and WIFI. Seasonal indoor Ice skating ring located in long barn a short 4 minute drive away. Pine crest lake and dodge ridge are 20 minutes away and offer year round activities to include biking, boating, fishing, dining, disc golf, skiing and snowboarding. Twain Harte a 7 minute drive away from the cabin has activities for all. A 9 hole golf course, mini golf, ice crème, shaved ice, public pool (requires paid entry). Black oak Casino is a short drive away for gambling and bowling activities. Yosemite and Calaveras Big Trees state park are about 1.25 hr away. Some local restaurants are Mias, the Rock in Twain Harte, the Eproson house, China house of Twain Harte, El Jardin, Pine Cone Cafe, Alicias Sugar Shack, Bean around the block, the pizza factory, Andys mountain grille to name a few.
Guest access
Cabin is located right off the main road. About 1/4 mile past the chevron station on the right if your headed east on highway 108. There is a large half circle driveway providing ample parking for large vehicles or those towing a boat or off road vehicles. During the winter months the driveway will be plowed. There are two houses on this 2.5 acre property. A larger 1800 sq ft 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin and a smaller 725 sq ft 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin are both available for rent on airb&b. Can be rented individually or both cabins rented together for the very large family or for multiple families or retreats. Both cabins together sleep approximately 20 guests. We have both cabins listed together under a separate listing. The cabins are separated by a 3 car garage and are almost 100 feet apart. The three car garage is shared by the two houses and has been transformed into a game room. The game room has a pool table, arcade style basketball, darts, seating and eating table, microwave for popcorn, large 65" tv, and a full bathroom. The game room has heating and air conditioning as well and also houses a washer and dryer for use.
Other things to note
The 2.5 acre property has a small down hill slope to it. During the winter months this provides for a great area for kids to sled and tube down on the snow. During the dry season there is a completely paved area to play basketball, kickball, football, baseball, volleyball, and other games.
