This home is located in a lovely historic neighborhood and it is incredibly comfortable, very private and impeccably clean. Perfect for first time visitors, anyone coming for an event in this amazing city, and frequent travelers who want to be close to everything. No need to pay $$$$ for a downtown hotel when you can have your own house in this central Austin neighborhood. Plus easy street parking in front or in the driveway.
Please note - We keep the base price low for the first two guests. Additional guests, after the first two, are $45/night per person during festival events. At all other times, additional guests are $25/night per person. VRBO/HomeAway's new calendar doesn't allow us to set different fees for non-festival vs. festival stays so an adjustment will be made after the booking request subject to your approval.
Excellent food, wine, and beer are conveniently close at Central Market. The huge Whole Foods headquarters is minutes away. Within walking distance are multiple restaurants (Cipollina, Jeffrey's, Galaxy Cafe, Cafe Josie's and Clark's Oyster Bar), coffee shops (Mozart's, Cafe Medici, and more) and our neighborhood grocery store, Fresh Plus. A new favorite on 12th Street, Word of Mouth Bakery, is a good start to any day. Easy access to the Greenbelt, Lake Austin, the hike and bike trail, and Zilker Park.
This home has two bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses and season-appropriate bedding. There is a king size bed in one bedroom and a queen size bed in the second bedroom.
The large living room has two pull-out couches with new mattresses. Choose either the queen or full size pull-out couch and it can be made up prior to your arrival with a memory foam topper in addition to its mattress for extra comfort.
Many items are provided for your use: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, sanitized towels and linens, large and small coffee makers, French press, coffee grinder, blender, food processor, dishware, pots, pans, glassware, and utensils.
Enjoy everything Austin has to offer -restaurants, bars, live music, eclectic shops with new and vintage clothing, jewelry, art, costumes, bakeries with cupcakes, candy, amazing pastries, everything you can imagine and more. Or get close to nature with biking and hiking trails and outdoor adventure options. Go swimming, visit nature and wildlife centers, or explore wonderful wineries throughout the hill country.
