Getting to and from Elli's Luxury Houses is easy and only a brief and scenic 10km drive from the main town of Lixuri. It is 40km from Argostoli and only 2km from Saint Thekli (Aghia Thekli). Down at the beach (2 km) there are 2 restaurants to enjoy fresh fish everyday and the beach bars for your drinks, Cocktails and summer events and parties.
A note about the origin of the location's name: Petanous. It is said that it is derived from the Greek words of Peta (to fly) and Nous (Mind). It is meant to convey the emotion one feels while admiring the bay from high above.
